...Oh right. There may be SPOILERS HERE, for TALES OF THE ABYSS. Just a warning. o_o
Well, at any rate, this is another bit of nonsensical Tales of the Abyss fanart, with little logic and sense of reasoning necessary to view it with.
Haha, there was a topic on the official Tales forum, on Namco's website, where they debated who Luke's father was. >_> Would it be Van, who went forward with making a replica of Asch? Asch, for being the one who Luke was derived from? Jade, who created Fomicry, the technology that allowed Luke to be created? Luke's father, who raised him? And someone else, I forget who...
But either way. Van Grants is Darth Vader, and Ion is a weapon for throwing. Someone's signature, on another Tales forum, had a screenshot of Asch and Luke edited, with the classic, "Luke! I am your..." line in it. I suppose that's where this started.
I love psychotic Luke.
If I get bored again, I might draw more of this twisted nonsense. There's nothing stopping me, anyway.
...Have I mentioned how much I hate those designs on Asch and Van's armor? I only have semblance of it drawn. The actual thing is so...@_@; Ugh, I just needed better reference artwork.
I thought of Darth Vader, too, when Jade pointed out that technically, Van was Luke's father. Van is so hard to get reference for, and he's all detailed. Well done, though. Great comic!

Ohmigawrd, this is hilarious. Crazy Luke is fun. 8D I totally love that line 'No, I killed them, too.' I don't know why, but it amuses me. xD Oh, Ion, you say the darnest things.
The person you forgot is Dist, who made the actual technology in the first place. C:
Awesome AU comic. I quoted it for a friend and she just about died laughing. I love the "Luke, I am your father" theft here. That's brilliant, and too funny not to be used. Well done!

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

Although, ironically, I -did- have references, I was just not staring at them hard enough to figure out what was what. >_>;

Well, Van is really detailed. I get distracted after five minutes of trying to decipher the order of the lines on his clothes.
